Basic arguments for the use of WABIO Technic and Technology

Those interested in WABIO technology should bei sought primarily where other alternative techniques based on wet energy fermentation and mass processing of biogenic biomass are unavailable or unprofitable.

This mainly applies to cases when:

  • Locations with a small and / or expensive land area for investment are available (e.g. municipal food plants, municipal sewage treatment plants, etc.)
  • Biogenic inputs intended for processing contain a minimal amount or are completely free of fermentation bacteria due to the previously carried out chemical processing process (eg pulp and paper production, waste paper processing).
  • Biogenic inputs intended for processing contain a minimal amount or are completely free of fermentation bacteria in connection with the previously carried out thermal processing process (e.g. beer production, bioethanol production, oil production, potato processing, cassava and tapioca, canning production, fruit and vegetable processing).
  • Biogenic inputs for processing contain a large proportion of lignocellulose (eg cereal warehouses, cereal mills, breweries, distilleries, sugar cane processing plants, starch factories, paper factories, wood processing plants, straw processing plants).
